Buzzy is cheaper per use than topical anesthetics.

Buzzy’s batteries last 20 hours; assuming you use the reusable wings and throw Buzzy away when the batteries run out, the cost per use on average is $.20. If you use the disposable wings, the cost goes up to $1.20 or $2.20 depending on which wing. If you replace the batteries and keep using Buzzy, obviously the cost goes DOWN. Other topical anesthetics range from $.50/use (cold spray) up to $15.00/use (Zingo).
